There are lots of bus trips to Pamukkale which is a natural wonder unique in the world formed by water over thousands of years. At a temperature of 35 degrees C the waters come out of the ground and down the mountain side and form many pools which overflow to form stalactites, hence the name "Cotton Castle" (the translation of Pamukkale.

The ancient city of Hierapolis dating from 190 BC can also be seen in the area.
